Turkish generals arrested over Syria-bound trucks case

Turkey is now prosecuting the military leaders who oversaw the interception of Turkish intelligence trucks that were allegedly making illegal arms deliveries to fighters in Syria. Turkish authorities arrested two generals and a retired colonel and charged them with espionage and “terrorism,” Zaman reports. Last week, Turkish police arrested two journalists on similar charges for publishing photos of the arms shipments.
