Erdgoan denied hall for political rally in Brussels

The European wing of Turkey’s AKP applied for permission to conduct a rally in an 18,000-seat arena in Brussels during Erdogan’s upcoming visit to Belgium. The mayor of Brussels refused permission to the Union of European Turkish Democrats (UETD), saying the arena is not designed for political rallies, Zaman reports. Erdogan will be in Brussels between Oct. 4 and 6, and he plans to raise support for the AKP among Turkish expats. Erdogan is continuing to openly violate the Turkish Constitution, which requires the president to remain impartial while performing his duties.
