Russian tanks and fighters enter Eastern Ukraine, Kiev says

Newsweek reports that 22 Russian tanks crossed into Ukraine over the weekend, according to pro-government officials in Donetsk. The administration in Donetsk says that Russia’s “humanitarian” convoys are bringing in missiles, which separatists are continuing to fire on Ukrainian towns. Mercenaries and fighters loyal to Chechen strongman Ramzan Kadyrov are also continuing to operate alongside the separatists in Eastern Ukraine.
