Trump leaves door open to U.S. recognizing Russia’s Crimea grab

Ahead of the scheduled July 16 Trump-Putin summit in Helsinki, the U.S. president told reporters, “We’re going to have to see,” when asked if Washington would recognize Moscow’s annexation of Crimea, Bloomberg reports. Crimea will be one of many items on the agenda at the Trump-Putin summit. Other items Trump said would be discussed include Ukraine, Syria and the alleged Russian meddling in the U.S. elections.
